These terms apply to use of the XlangAI website, downloads, server store, and mobile client.
Overview
By visiting the XlangAI website or using the client, you agree to these terms. The product is offered as a website for information plus a client with user-chosen servers; the client does not include a unified hosted product backend operated by the developer.
1. Scope
The website provides product information, download information, legal documents, and public server store listings. After you connect to a server, the client enables speaking practice, conversations, and related features. Server-side availability, data retention, moderation, and fees, if any, are determined by that instance's operator.
2. Server store
The server store displays server information submitted publicly by communities or organizations. We may remove or decline content that is incomplete, unlawful, infringing, or misleading, but we do not warrant the availability, accuracy, security, service quality, or pricing policy of third-party or self-hosted deployments.
3. Endpoints and accounts
You are responsible for lawful, working server URLs and for accounts and content on that instance. Changing servers requires signing in again; data on the previous instance is not automatically migrated. Account, data, membership, or usage disputes with a server instance should be resolved between you and that operator.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the website, server store, or client for unlawful, infringing, abusive, harassing, disruptive, security-bypassing, or misleading activity. Server store names, links, descriptions, statistics, and contact details must be truthful, lawful, and non-infringing.
5. Pricing and license
The client is sold as a one-time paid download (enabled on the iOS App Store; Google Play billing is reserved and not yet available). After purchase you may use the client software indefinitely and receive future feature updates and security fixes. The app offers no subscriptions, consumable in-app purchases, or other digital goods. Your store purchase covers the client only; it does not include fees for operating, membership on, or usage of any server instance you connect to. Those charges, if any, are set by that instance's operator and are separate from your client license.
6. Intellectual property
Website content, client software, brand assets, and related documentation remain the property of their rights holders. Server components, if open-sourced separately, are governed by their own licenses. You may not copy, impersonate, or misleadingly use the XlangAI or 小浪AI names, marks, or page content without authorization.
7. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for outages, network failures, third-party instance failures, misconfiguration, inaccurate AI output, server store listing changes, or third-party links. AI responses are informational only, not professional advice. Membership, usage limits, or fees on a connected server instance, if any, are the responsibility of that operator and are unrelated to your one-time client purchase.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes may be communicated on the website, in the app, or via release notes. Continued access to the website or use of the client constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
